Review of Onba bar, cafe and restaurant in North Hobart Tasmania

Onba cafe, restaurant and bar is located in Elizabeth St North Hobart and was absolutely fantastic.

We dined at Onba before going out to a party and had drinks, duck liver pate and wedges.

The pate was superb and honestly the wedges were the best I have ever had. They were really crisp on the outside and light and fluffy inside. The sour cream and chilli sauce were also excellent.

ONBA combines the old and the new with little bit of something for everyone and provides a wonderful selection of dishes for any time of day. With a carefully compiled cocktail selection and an extensive wine list accented by a range of Tasmanian and European wines there is something to suit every taste. Whether you’re out for breakfast, a business lunch, cocktails and drinks after dinner or just need a coffee come check out ONBA.

ONBA is open for breakfast from 7.00am Tues – Sat, 8.00am on Saturdays and B/Fast, Lunch available from 12pm till 3pm, Tuesday – Saturday.

Dinner Menu available from 5.00pm until 9.30pm, Tuesday – Saturday.

Cocktails, coffee and cake available all day and night…..

I can really highly recommend Onba – the food was brilliant and service was prompt, friendly and efficient. A terrific place that I look forward to going back to again.
